About The Remnant Brief

Last Updated: August 2, 2026

The Remnant Brief is an independent Christian-worldview news aggregator. We gather reporting from a curated set of Christian and general-interest sources and organize it by faith-relevant topic — Middle East, Persecution, Missions, Policy, and Faith & Culture. Every story is shown with its named source and a link to read it in full at the original publisher.

We do not republish full articles. Each item on the site is a headline, a short summary, the source's name, and a link out.

Our lens

We read the news through a biblical worldview, and we say so plainly rather than claiming a neutrality no publication actually has. Our selection of stories, our topic groupings, and our summaries reflect that lens.

That means:

  • We are not neutral wire copy. What we choose to cover, and how we frame it, is shaped by historic Christian conviction.
  • We aggregate and summarize. The underlying reporting belongs to the outlets we link to, and their editorial judgments are their own.
  • We expect you to read the source. The link back to the original article is the point, not an afterthought.

How we choose sources

  • Sources are always named on every story, and every story links back to the original article.
  • We draw on a mix of Christian outlets and mainstream/general-interest outlets, so that a story can be seen from more than one direction.
  • Coverage is organized by topic so readers can follow a subject — persecution, the Middle East, missions, policy, culture — across sources rather than one outlet at a time.
  • Inclusion of a source is not an endorsement. Linking to an outlet does not mean we agree with its reporting, its editorial positions, or its worldview.

Editorial standards

We distinguish between four kinds of content, the same distinction stated in our Terms of Service:

  • News reporting — factual accounts of events, sourced and linked.
  • Analysis — interpretation of events and their significance.
  • Opinion and editorial — argument and advocacy.
  • Theology — doctrinal and scriptural reflection.

Where content is not explicitly labeled, it reflects the publication's editorial perspective and biblical worldview. Errors of fact are corrected when identified; if you believe something on the site is wrong, write to us.

Masthead

The Remnant Brief is independently operated. It is not affiliated with, funded by, or speaking on behalf of any denomination, ministry, political party, or news organization, and none of the outlets we link to are partners or sponsors.

We do not list an editorial board or staff directory. Editorial and correspondence for the publication is handled through a single contact address.
