The Holy See at the IAEA: Nuclear technologies must serve the common good, not war

The 70th session of the General Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) was held in Vienna from September 14 to 18, 2026. During this session, Archbishop Paul Richard Gallagher, the Secretary for Relations with States and International Organizations of the Holy See, addressed the assembly and conveyed greetings from Pope Leo XIV to the participants.
