The Lord's Supper doesn't give grace. It celebrates it

When Paul says the Corinthians are eating “in an unworthy manner,” he is not introducing a rule about private sin.

“Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction…”
